Alli is an active member of the Birmingham community, where she works, lives, serves, and plays. She brings an entrepreneurial spirit to all her work. After a successful career as a broker in the Memphis commercial real estate firm Trammell Crow, she founded a web design company that she has run for almost 20 years. Along the way, she created a popular website about the ‘80s as a hobby, which she sold to an investor in 2016. She attended college at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (a detail she hopes you will not hold against her), where she graduated as valedictorian with a BA in Business Administration and an MBA in New Venture Analysis.
Alli lives in Mountain Brook, where she has been an engaged parent, community leader, and resident for 15 years. Her long history of service and community leadership extends beyond her time in Alabama. During a brief period in Southern Illinois, she served on the board of The Women’s Center (the local women’s shelter), using her real estate experience to help select and negotiate a new location in Carbondale. In Alabama, she supported the Emmet O’Neal Library Children’s Department as a member of the Women’s Committee of 100 and represented Alabama on an International Rotary exchange trip to France, where her French language skills proved useful. Alli is a founding member of the Mountain Brook Track Club booster group, a non-profit organization created to support the community’s track athletes.
In her free time, Alli takes advantage of all that Birmingham offers, including local sports, outdoor spaces, and our growing cultural scene. Alli can often be found at the track supporting her son, Gram, a junior at Mountain Brook High School, who shares her love of running. When she is not at one of his meets, she stays active by walking, swimming, or doing yoga. Whenever possible she takes Boo, her sweet rescue dog, with her. She enjoys a variety of other activities that Birmingham has to offer from restaurants to art shows to farmers’ markets to concerts, especially bluegrass. Alli is a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.
